Educational Development
Career Awareness Motivation Program (CAMP)
Chairperson:  Marjorie Spears

CAMP is designed for boys and girls in grades 3,4,& 5.  The children learn more about mathematics, computer skills, language arts, and conflict management, among other things.  Various guest speakers come in to share with the children about their careers.  Students also participate in games and go on field trips.


Dr. Betty Shabazz DELTA ACADEMY
Chairpersons: Tiffany McLean and Tiffany Watkins

The Delta Academy is designed for girls ages 11-14.  Participants are taught the importance of a positive self-esteem and proper etiquette.  In addition, several of their activities have an emphasis on academic areas, such as science and math.  The girls also hear from guest speakers about possible career choices.
Delta GEMS (Growing and Empowering Myself Successfully)
    Chairpersons:  Tracy Johnson, Denise Jackson, and Nichelle Evans
Delta GEMS is designed for females  ages 14-18.  The focus of the program is cultural, social, and educational enrichment. The Delta GEMS meet monthly (September through May) at the Black Cultural Center.
